Book Week 2020 is in the 鈥淏ooks鈥 and what a wonderful and exciting time had by all! The students, teachers, and staff participated in a week filled with interesting activities that highlighted the importance of reading and cooperation.
Just imagine walking into a school where students are sitting all over the place with books in hand or on a device. There is chatter but not the chatter of teachers correcting students, what you hear is the chatter of students actively reading to themselves and others. It was absolutely amazing!
Students created masks of their favourite book characters or characters from this year鈥檚 Book Week theme 鈥淐urious Creatures, Wild Minds鈥. They partnered with a lower or upper primary class for buddy reading and created the first 暴风资源 Spoonville! This was only to be outdone by the sights and wonders of our annual Book Character Parade.

Overall, Book Week 2020 was an educational and fun experience for all. We can鈥檛 wait to continue the excitement in 2021, InShaAllah!
